HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone !!! Are you ready for the MAJOR energies of January???? Let me tell you...it's A LOT. So buckle up and check this out:

The calendar New Year always starts in Capricorn season, this means we start the year with focus and discipline and maybe a little tough love (hello…new year’s resolutions!!!!)

But this year, the energy shifts rather quickly as Venus (the planet of love) enters creative Pisces today - Jan 2nd. Some of us could be finding new ways to express our love to those closest to us. Right behind that on January 6th, action-oriented Mars goes retrograde in Cancer. This could be a downer when it comes to physical energy as the focus is on our emotional energy.

Mars and Venus are personal planets – meaning they represent our basic human drives and traits. With both of them being in water signs everyone will be a bit more sensitive and soft. This will be a GREAT time to show kindness, compassion and grace to ourselves and to each other.

While we are still sitting with our emotions, Mental planet Mercury will enter Capricorn on January 8th. We may be feeling ALL the feels, but we will be able to communicate and process our thoughts in a grounded, methodical, and practical way.

A whole Spiritual energy shift comes on January 11 (the 1:11 portal!) as the fate-oriented North Node of the Moon enters Pisces and the South Node of Karma will enter Virgo. This signs and seals our journey through a new eclipse cycle, foreshadowing a lot of spiritual growth, moments of surrender, and destiny-tinged realignments in the year ahead.

Then, on January 13, a warm and energizing full moon rises in Cancer, putting us in touch with our emotional strength; replenishing our hearts and filling our cups, allowing us to move forward in alignment with the things that are the most meaningful to us.

Aquarius season comes in hot on January 19th and inspires us to think outside the box and envision a world beyond our wildest dreams! Mercury zooms into Aquarius on January 27th, then two days later the New Moon skulks into Aquarius as well. All of this really encourages us to challenge the norms and pave our own path without worrying about what anyone else thinks. LET'S MAKE IT WEIRD!
